The French rock magazine Les Inrockuptibles was one of the producers of the I’m Your Fan album. Issue # 30 (1991) had a great 23 page cover story "Comme un guerrier" about Leonard Cohen. The article was written by Christian Fevrer and included 15 original photos and the cover photo by Renaud Monfourny. A free promotional four track CD was put between the pages of the issue. The song Paper thin hotel by Fatima Mansions is not on the album (but their version of A singer must die is one of the tracks). Geoffrey Oryema’s Suzanne on this promo is a longer version. In March 1995 Les Inrockuptibles returned to Leonard Cohen, with a seven page story "Histoire sans morale. Cohen entre viel et terre" written by Gilles Tordjman.
