Gedächtniskirche:

The original church was built between 1891 and 1895 in Memorial to Kaiser Wilhelm I and was destroyed by allied bombardments during WWII. The people of Berlin denied to rebuilt the church but let the ruin speak for itself.

Zoo: One of the two entrances to Berlin's "Zoologischer Garten", an oriental-style Elephant gate, is only a few steps away from the Europa center on Breitscheidplatz - it features a large diversity of species with only a few rivals in the world, including Aquarium, Terrarium and Insektarium, which all can be visited separately. The train station "Zoologischer Garten" served as the central train station in Berlin-West.
