"Here's another shot from Leonard's concert in London 1972. I came to study photography in London in 1971 and started taking photos of various concerts. As far as I can remember there were no photopasses for this concert, they said it was an acoustic gig and photography would be too disturbing. I loved the first album by Leonard and learned to sing and play Suzanne on my guitar. I really wanted to get a few shots of him, sensing he was a major talent. So I smuggled my camera in under my jacket and took a couple of shots from my seat from about 15th row, hoping not to disturb people sitting next to me. The atmosphere at the concert was quite solemn, everybody listening intensively."
